Yep, think a set of proper mud tyres would have definitely helped😳 There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

When it's that deep, they would have certainly helped you get more stuck.

Without wishing to sound contentious, but your sidesteps wouldn't be helping your situation there either.

They're acting as ground planes, although I've no doubt you'd be stuck regardless of whether you had them or not.

Tyres, a winch, no steps, a bigger engine, strops, etc all wouldn't PREVENT you getting stuck.

Experience, however. The wondrous gift of knowledge. What goes on in that noodle of yours. That'd prevent you getting stuck. Thumbs Up Laughing Si. <This is my name.

Shocked YES it was MEEEEEEEE !!!

with regards to experience and knowledge - if we didn't take risks it would be boring Yawn

i have been in the field in the past with no problems, a little bit of rain (well a lot) and it makes for a wee bit more excitement.

Range Rovers get the reputation for being driven by old farts with flat caps and doing the school run, well like a few on here i like to be different - thats what they are for.

But i do agree Tyres make the difference - but a decent set would not have mattered at all.

if people can't put gates on fields ??

i can laugh Mr. Green NOW
Saturday i was Mr Peeed Off / Mr Sheepish Look

I am disappointed that a fellow FFRR owner drove past and didn't come in to help Whistle '54 Adriatic Blue Vogue
