Yup, the two brackets (one front and one rear) that attach the steps to the car. They are hinged and both of mine have snapped around the pivot. |

I think they are part numbers LR004810 and LR004812 but can't find a diagram to confirm. |

I can't get them welded as the thinner part of the hole where it pivots is actually missing (they are snapped clean off rather than fractured or cracked). Thanks for the tip I will pm him. |

So I bit the bullet and bought both drivers side brackets new (£400) last month... and now the passenger rear has sheared off.
