That's what Instagram & Facebook etc are full of everyday. While undoubtedly annoying for the creator, it's quite different to someone selling your work commercially and virtually impossible to stop I'd imagine |

Technically, you are correct - but the commonality is the act of taking it is illegal, as to taking something that isn't yours to take, and pass around the world, as your own - which then ends up God-Knows-Where. "S'the Digital age, innit?, what's the harm"

Not everyone has the money to own all the photographs so there's definitely a place for what he did. It's of interest to me as a LR enthusiast regardless of who takes the pictures, and yes, I used to be a tog as well, Sadly there just isn't enough money in endless weddings and I much prefer wildlife to people anyway. Yes my images get used without permission sometimes but meh, life's too short.
