What do the EU ratings for tyres actually mean? | |
The EU ratings on tyres range from A to G for both fuel economy and braking distances.
All things being equal can someone tell me what the theoretical drop in MPG is between a 'C' and 'G' graded tyre?
Next question the braking distances. Obviously the shorter the distance the better, but how many feet are we talking between a 'B' graded Nexen Roadian and a 'E' graded Cooper LTZ?
Yes I know that all sorts of factors will impact upon the results but there must be some theoretical answers.
Ta, Chris. Travelling around in circles again.
