What are they like with level changes? I don't mean stairs but 1/4inch max? I'm liking the idea of these as its a cool gadget.

Well we've been running it a couple of days and I have to say I'm mighty impressed. We went for one that you have to charge seperately but it works it's way around our living area, under tables and sofas very well. It' not got a very large capacity but it works very well. I can see us upgrading to one that returns to it's charge point in the next year but for fifty odd quid it's brilliant. We charge it up and turn it on as we go to bed at night. It'll trundle round and clear up after you. Regards

After much review reading, have opted for a Neato XV Signature. Seems to tick the relevant boxes in terms of price, efficiency, parts availability and consistently scores better than many more expensive machines. Just hoping reality lives up to expectations Should've been old enough to know better...doh!

A quick update, well pleased with the Neato as our choice of robotic vacuum cleaner. It cleans well, is not overly noisy and seems to get more efficient at cleaning each time it operates. Has got confused once on the metal base of my favourite chair, not sure why as its had no problems with this on other occasions.
