As Craig said, they all do it, always open the boot and bonnet after washing mine as it collects under the bonnet trim as well.... Pete

I have learnt, by flooding the car a few times, if you pause half way through opening the upper tailgate, all the water will run down the sides and not in to the car. I think that the rear spoiler / high level brake light housing is really an aquifer for the hotter regions, that Land Rover sells too. After all I can see that having an extra 10 gallons of water on board would be a good selling point, but over here it's just a soggy pain when you forget and open the tailgate too fast! Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I'm in the habit of opening the tailgate not too fast with one hand and when there is a few inches gap, reach in with the other hand to fold the Ivory parcel shelf out the way quick.......

You keep an imaginary snake in yer boot , that's a bit of an extreme anti theft device, it must be a tough area you live in Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
