Mick, its not ever the right time but get another one asap, its difficult but older dogs always thrive with a puppy about. As per Andyboy I have buried 3 of my labs over the last 3 years and they have thrived longer by having younger dogs around. My dane is 8 and loves running around with the younger ones. Only trying to help, but in comparison try burying horses on a yearly basis, just as emotional but a bigger bloody spade Thumbs Up

Really sorry to hear the news Mick. When my Molly passed away a few years ago, I had to take time out of work for a couple of days I was so upset!

We now have Chester and as much as we know that one day we will miss him, our lives and his are a lot richer for being together. So remember the happy times buddy. Current MY2020

Really sorry to hear the news, my sincerest condolences to you and the family.
We've lost pets over the years and it's never easy, feels like you've lost one of the family.
But I would agree with the others who say to get another pet, sooner rather than later.

Sorry to hear that, Mick. Big Cry All our thoughts are with you. You're always cheering us up with Shocked jokes, so it's the least we can do. Take care of yourself and remember the good times.

Mine said that too and we waited a couple of years but it was my youngest Alistair who made mum change her mind he was 6 at the time and so another Lab entered the family and we wouldn't be without him and my wife is even more attached to this one so it will be awful when that tragic time comes
Give it time Thumbs Up
