What about a Suzuki Swift? Got one for the daughter last year, it's pretty good on fuel and it looks quite sporty! gone fishin'

Why not look in the future classics thread - find a car that's maybe appreciating?

Saab 900 convertible, or if you have the time to peruse in detail maybe stretch to a 9-3 convertible? Should've been old enough to know better...doh!

Renault Clio 172 or 182 are good and not too bad on fuel.

Skoda Fabia VRs

Suzuki swift sport

They aren't all within the range other than older or higher mileage ones but still good fun. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Audi TT

Mercedes 200 SLK Kompressor

Both really quite sporty whilst keeping an eye on economy and the Audi especially will be good in an accident situation... V high on my priority list Ross Thumbs Up

Didnt think you could get a TT for that budget...stand corrected, just looked, quit a few out there on high mileages ! Bow down

Won't go wrong with a volkswagon golf gti, but insurance may be high. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

I am a big VW fan so now at golf/polo level. As per Craig earlier safety is a big thing as we all think our children are not as good a driver as us however need to remember the stuff we drove Rolling with laughter on that point new thread started .....
