The song "happy" must have subconsciously calmed you down. My tourettes would have kicked in.
My wife has just said she could not believe you did not say anything.... Stunned silence I suppose.
I take it you are going to set the correct date and time on the camera now? Previously..

Come on Stan probably just a worker from right side driving Europe that got confused. I mean sun around this time of year in the UK gets everyone confused.

You really need to go to Africa or here to learn "real driving", or better expect the unexpected, the rules are for guidance only.

W****r!

Report him. He'll cause an accident driving that way and you can bet this wasn't his first, or last, time. Si. <This is my name.

Actually, if you look back through the history books you will find that this came from the fact that Napoleon was left handed. Everyone else would have their soldiers march down the left side of the road so their sword arm was on the correct side, a bit like the reason that stone spiral staircases always circled clockwise when ascending so that when in combat the defending soldiers (who would have been uppermost) had the advantage.

But Mr Bonepart insisted his legions marched down the right side so his own sword arm was on the correct side for him, and to hell with his troops. All because he was a Molly Dooker. Might explain why he lost so many battles Whistle

So, you have Napoloeon to thank for the fact you all drive on the wrong side Mr. Green

Another interesting fact is that high-class French cars of days gone by, such as the Facel Vega for example, were mostly Right Hand Drive. This was something the French High-Society did as a way of differentiating themselves from the lower classes.

I love it when people react, on my bull Censored even if their story has been told a million times.
It is even partly correct, depending on the books you read. Fact is that we, on the mainland, have developed and you on the Island have not since Napoleon. Rolling with laughter

Stan we are confronted here often with Brits driving on the wrong side and I know how shocking and frustrating it is. Even for a patient (not) tolerant and kind Dutchman like I am.

To be honest, we all make mistakes from time to time. I have been switching traffic a lot sometimes (from right to left and back again) and the first few days you have to make sure that you focus. Getting to roundabouts you have to do that even more and I remember "drifting of into thinking mode" and getting to a roundabout and really having to think clockwise or counterclockwise. My trip earlier this year, the first drive in the 5.0 I did a lot of driving UK-Europe-UK and I live in a left driving country at the moment as well.

Having driven in some crazy places (Nigeria, Malaysia, Napels, Paris, Milan) one tends to learn to be a lot more alert to people doing "strange things" and honestly Nigeria does take the cake with Napels following closely. It definitely made me a more tolerant and alert driver.

Luckily nothing happened here and I think we should be a little leniant with the lady. Not that she should be forgiven but just lets hope that she shat herself and "woke up" and that she will not make that mistake again. Now if something had happened and poor old (well not really of course, young man Stan) Stan would have been hit, then unfortunately the entire book should have been thrown at her because that is the consequence of such stupid mistakes (lets hope it was a mistake and not done on purpose).

I am just glad that Stan didn't get hurt, his FFRR didn't get a scratch or worse on it and she was fine as well, the best outcome of a bad situation I'd say especially if she has now woken up and we are all a bit more alert (at least for a while) when driving around.

pretty well put there Eugene and thanks for the concern re my FF and me..[notice i said FF first Mr. Green ]
as you saw on the video the road conditions were good and it was all happening in slowish speed so no sudden dramas...had this been a Censored chav in a saxo going top speed then it would defo be reported to the police...
its good that these dashcams actually work in capturing moments like this... ... - .- -.
