Recommendations please for daughters car

Right I am sure that many of you have been in this situation. Somehow I have been part of a sting by SWMBO and Daughter 1 and find myself in a position where I am buying her a car!!!!

Have tried all the LR product routes but not interested. She would like something sporty but economical, budget £2500.

She is 24 with good insurance history.

I have no clue about these kind of cars

Any ideas

Thanks in advance Thumbs Up

Yep, Ka are a good car, my daughter had one for several years but has just bought a Smart Roadster, cheaper on insurance, less road tax, 50+mpg (Ka did mid 30's) faster and a right hoot to drive, convertible or hardtop... and supposedly a future classic according to 5th gear....

Old and new

Yes well done in getting to the 1000 club Bow down Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Now getting to cars....Not a green oval Shocked ....she knows too much about them already Laughing

Cant go wrong with Ford any of them or Toyota Thumbs Up Whats on her list ?

The Mrs took home a Suzuki sx4, it was a customers car and in fairness wasn't to bad out of price range though Sad , boot too small too. NOW I must stress my mrs is a petrol head and doesn't give credit to some cars out there....

Edited for the model car Mrs took home. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Sporty is the problem.. what do you mean really? Plenty of economical stuff, all or mostly as dull as hell. Graham

Seriously, don't get into green oval at that budget. It would be a freelander 1 and they are not a safe vehicle looking at crash data.
Have you put max budget into the autotrader site and seen what it brings up? There is loads of choice. Previously..

As my second car was a Nova 1.2 then went to SR model, that's a quick little motor, of course that car is obsolete, hows the corsa range, cheap on insurance too. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

"Sporty" ... and in budget and 'reasonably' economical

BMW 318/320 coupe or might even find an E36 cabrio at this time of year
150 bhp 2WD TT
Mini
MX5
Honda Civic (dull old one though)
MR2 and Celica if you dare
First shape Merc SLK
