Now sold 2003 V8 AB Now Down To £7.5k happy for offers

Just spoke to him, dropped by £1k, told him he was dreaming....

This is a good pal's v8, firstly I think he's being a bit ambitious with the price but he is open to sensible offers, so let's not dwell too much on that.

Anyone interested then please pm me for his contact details. Can be viewed anytime with notice, car is located just outside Dundee, he has little internet skills so I offered to post here before it goes on the open market.

Mileage is 100k, it's a genuine AB model, my pal bought it from the original owner then sold it to another pal when he was going through divorce, then when that was finalised, he thought he would buy the car back. Long story short, the car doesn't get used that much since he got it back a few months ago, and has decided the best thing is to let it go.

I've had a few runs in the car and it drives faultlessly, it's amazing how rapid it is , going from my tractor to this was an eye opener. There are no knocks from the suspension which has been overhauled recently. The gearbox was replaced in the last year or so, done by a local indy which is no longer under warranty , but one less thing to worry about. MOT till April 2015, obviously due to the new tax rules, buyer pays that. Full HK system with NAV, RSE with both headsets, unused detachable tow bar, sunroof etc, fitted with brand new 22" Onyx wheels & Grabbers which can't have done more than 400 miles. I'm assured that everything works .

Bad Points:

Condensation in n/s rear light which can be seen on the photos

Rear arches need sorting like most of this age, mine are exactly the same.

Like every black car, needs a good buffer session & that's about it !

Nice motor that one, your pal should break the car for bits purely because I want to buy that interior! For those who don't know I have quite a thing for buying car interiors Confused

I'm in Dundee next week for a few days... Just saying Thumbs Up

I recognise that reg no. Does it live between Dundee-Blairgowrie?

Sorely tempted myself (if the price was a bit more realistic), but I have no need for it, with another 3 LR's in the drive. And the wife would be less than impressed if it turned up Laughing

It does indeed, I told him the price was way too much but hey ho, that's what offers are for I suppose...

I'm trying my hardest to resist making an offer, for the above reasons.

But I keep looking at it, and think it would be a good idea to buy it Shocked

Honestly Mike, it drives great, sounds fantastic as well, make an offer , think he just wants rid...

On another note , need to get you back down , need to try & source the fooking electrical drain...

My offer would be sub 6k. I'd be tempted to break it, in all honesty, with it being an AB

Let me know when, I'll make some time for you and get to the bottom of it Thumbs Up
