Ok one more then...taken with the Ipad so you never know how it turns up on the forum. If he isn't on the sofa he is sleeping in there.

He even got his own website..... http://indigo-diego.webs.com

In short he is indeed part of the family

ebajema you must, far more entertaining ! but aren't cats in charge of the house hold Laughing

Last week the dog left me a present by the front door she always goes out for its business before going to bed, she took a long time to come back to the house this night but took nothing of it. Next morning I open the door and what's waiting for me...........a rabbits head and spine Shocked

This is her, mousing in the field back in the summer Laughing

That is great mate, having a dog that fetches its own dinner Smile

I loved that wolfhound, the easiest dogs in the world. They just don't have long life spans (he died at just 8, at least he waited till I was home from working offshore for 5 weeks). Never seen a more gentle dog when it comes to kids !!!

I bet the cats are going to be the kings of this house for sure, although our youngest may have a different opinion (our previous cat was frequently observed being dragged backwards by its tail across the tiled floor and he never even growled at her, just endured it).

Will be interesting to see how things are going to be with these two kittens in the house. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Absolutely would never be without a dog. My current one, ignoring my rules about no dogs on the furniture.

We've got Dogs, cats, chickens, fish, hamsters and pigs , sorry, sausages now......

My wife would give them all up but I'd rather keep them Laughing

Been to the vets with our Choccy Lab Willow this morning... She needs both cruciate ligaments done in her hind legs so that's the next 5 months for us including recovery time as they will only do one at a time.... it's also £2K per leg Rolling Eyes

France 2007 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

Mark our Diego had that done in Bordeaux, after the operation he was in a bench for 6 weeks, during his walks the first week we helped him walking with a large towel under his belly after that on a very short leach. It took him 3 months. Now he is great, walks, runs and jumps like a young god and has no problems at all.
In Belgium and some French clinics they do both sides at the same time, but only bitches! Mails need to p with one leg up. In France high quality clinics will cost you 1700 euro per side.
Wish you strength and Willow willl be well I'm sure Thumbs Up

Thanks for the words.......
Last week we took Willow in for x-ray and an examination then after a phone call, the vet asked for both my wife and I to come to the consultation this morning. We've been stewing over this for days and to be honest it ended up in a very upsetting conversation last night that left my wife in tears thinking that they were going to tell us that there was nothing they could do and that the best thing to do was to put her out of her misery and me stating money no object we’ll get her well.
But no, it’s going to be OK…… hard work though and worse still that we are going to have to separate the dogs for ten-fourteen days immediately after each surgery (they hate being apart) but we’ll get there….. The procedure is amazing, cutting the bone and making the joint flat so the bone doesn’t slip…. You sort of get the idea here…..

I’ll let you know how it goes……….. Regards

Wouldn't be without my animals, don't know where I would spend money otherwise Rolling with laughter I sympathise with a previous post re holidays....dogs maybe but try to get someone to muck out 7 horses, cost more than the bloody holiday, we do ski once a year so not all doom and gloom. Eugene, re wolfhounds. I have had a couple of Great Danes and the most wonderful temperament especially around children, couple of random pics below, oh the cat runs the place but thinks its a dog and is useless at catching mice unless you present it on a plate Thumbs Up
