Your best mpg

If I'm concerned about mpg I won't even think of ffrr, but I was curious to test my best mpg(4.4 tdv8), last week it achieved 43.9 at about 50mile/hour, and was about 40mpg at 70mile/hour constant speed.
Normally I get 30-35 on motorway, i was expecting 25-30, so quite surprise in the fuel point of view.
Chaps, what's your best mpg in ur ff?

I hit 34.2mpg at a constant 60mph for 60 odd miles last week.
Mine is the 3.6 TDV8.

Given that the on board mpg is supposed to read high and I have never worked it out......22mpg has to be bad......

Probably more like 18.

Does include a fair bit of towing tho. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

England

Last Wednesday. 258 mile round trip to the NEC birmingham = £40.28 of LPG..... started with a full tank, cost was to refill tank back to full.

Haven't a clue what the MPG works out at, all i know is it's bloody cheap motoring for a big V8 and not hanging about there and back. Mr. Green

The day I picked it up is the best I have had on my 3.6 TDV8....

150 miles on M25 and M1 - lots of very slow traffic and the long 50mph sections....never went over 80, should I expect more ??

That's quite admirable for the 3.6. No issues at all there. Thumbs Up
