Best Band Ever

Been ripping my DVD collection and just did the Greatest Hits of Queen and I still think they were the best band ever. The variety and sheer amount of brilliant songs and videos makes them the best band ever, for me Smile. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Never been a big fan. Quite like some of their stuff. Freddie was amazing.

I'm a huge fan of Led Zeppelin.

....and Miles Davis, but he's not a band.

Freddie Mercury FTW. Knebworth 1986. There simply aren't enough good words in the language for what that band achieved.

I remember that gig so well. My burd at the time didn't want to go........ Shocked So I took my Mum. And from 80 odd thousand people there we pulled into the car park (field) 2 cars away from my Cousin Geoff.

Bands on were Quo, Big Country and the mighty Queen. Simply epic.

Isn't it funny... I LOVE Pink floyd and have several live gigs that i listen/watch... My 15yr old daughter quite enjoys some of it Rolling Eyes But given the choice she would rather watch/listen to the "vamps" Sniggering

We then had a debate as to "how many fans will the Vamps have 30yrs later"???

An hour later i walked past her bedroom and guess what she was listening to? Queen Bow down RESULT Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

The band that crosses Generations Craig. My 9 year old lad likes queen, as did my dear old Mum who would have been 79 now.

Craig, well done on raising a child and exposing here to proper music Bow down Bow down Bow down

I'm waiting for the Endless River to go from pre-order to shipping as we speak, together with Queen Forever (thanks for the tip Mick) and Live at the Rainbow (the only one missing from my collection).

I'm trying to raise my girls with the classics as well, Queen, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, ACDC, Metallica, Beatles, Guns 'n Roses to name a few. A very important part of life IMHO.

Oh how I miss the acoustics and sound system of the 5.0 right now Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
