Specifically 275/45/20 these are realistically looking like my only sensible choice for a cheep tyre right now , has any one any experience of them ?

Not had the UHP but my AT2's are very good, well made, seem strong and they balanced up with minimal weights which I think is always a good sign of a decent tyre, so I suppose the UHP's will be the same... Pete

I have read some criticism of the noise which is weird when the are a road biased uni-directional tyre . Thing is my man who services my car also has a container load of tyres he brought in from Dubai and in 20" this is what he has but Craig you are right I think I can get Cooper LTZ for about the same and I know the speed rating is a bit low but the speed limits are comically low here any way . 2008 MY Supercharged

I run them on my Bobtail and as long as you keep them where you first fit them They will remain quiet... Its when you move them F-R or L-R they get louder |

I'm running a pair of General Grabber AT's on the rear of my Hang Over and I haven't noticed any tyre noise from them at all, and they are good on a wet road. I had a full set on my last car (Shogun) and they inspired nothing but confidence. I must admit that I haven't had the chance to try them in snow, but on wet grass and light mud they have been great. Not that is much use to you, as I suspect that snow is something you never see along with wet anything, and I haven't been able to try them on ultra hot roads and dust covered in dust conditions Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... I ran a set of AT's when they first came out on my TD6 and they were superb , the problem here is choice and price .

Dam, you may have better weather than us, but we've got a better supply of tyres! I just did a quick comparison of the the AT , over here they are around £140 in your size, that converts to $260 Au, so some joker is adding 100% markup to ship them in to aus. Think I might have to emigrate and start up a business selling tyres, at say, a very reasonable 75% markup Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
