All the time , big boats small boats and any state of the tide . All the locals know it well enough and you just use the back currents to pull you through if you are against it . Not for the faint hearted with an out going spring tide and a full westerly gale

Sorry Gaz, you're mistaken.

It's the Wetterhon near Grindelwald. They built a cable car to no where and opened it just before World War I. Unsurprisingly no one used it, so they closed it. The building is still there and looks quite bizarre.

Thanks...that second one still gives me goosebumps for some reason but yeah quite close to those lions when I took it.

Yup - most are in Africa, a few out. Will give the answers soon...
