Joking aside, I am told that the limiting factor nowadays is that the cars tend to start to float and then lose traction. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Excellent point! Very Happy Wow, is that extreme. Shocked
As for the Camel Discos: up to the roof racks? Shocked Shocked Shocked How are you supposed to see where you're going?
The new ones may have a problem with flotation but I wouldn't worry about the D1 or the Defender. They're definitely NOT watertight. Rolling Eyes

As someone who was had water hitting the passenger side of my FF half way up the windscreen thanks to the flow of water being on that side i can say they are VERY water tight but if you expose the scuttle to more than a few seconds of water the interior WILL be soaked!

The cabin airfilter and air intake are the biggest limiting factor but I was in there for no more than 10seconds, and sure enough when the back end starts moving out of line of the front as its too light you tend to want to progress a little bit quicker!

Unlike the D2 that was in front of me which when it got to the other side immediately opened its doors to let half the river out of its interior and let the dogs shake it off!

The only things that suffered on my FF were the cabin filter which was duly replaced and the headlights and their stupid breather holes let in about 5mm of water so left mucky marks inside the plastic Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
