Just be aware (im sure you are) that you can't tint the fronts as they are very close to the legal
Limit as it is, so rears only.

The factory privacy, isn't that dark tbh, I have aftermatket tints on mine, it came with, and they are a bit too dark looks a bit like a van..... And is a tad dark inside.

So my advice, for what it's worth is go for a medium tint, either smoke which is quite light or at darkest midnight, not sure what mine are tbh, but once it's done it's done! So chose wisely. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I can't remember what level mine are, but I did the back & rear sides darker, then the passenger sides a shade lighter so it ties in better with the fronts - quite subtle, but I think it works.

It will be a while before I'm near the car in daylight to take a photo though......

my rears are not that dark, good enough to see through at night as well, I would never go midnight black....had them on a D1 when driving round europe years ago as a holiday.....when got back home driving round at night was a Censored nightmare and reversing into spaces was a pita!

And as nmj has said B piller back only....... Wink Thumbs Up If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

I know it's not tinting as such, but I fitted a set of these to mine and I'm well happy. Can remove in the winter months....

Go steady on the smoke effect . . .
When I bought my current car it came with these and looked like an extra from a Cinzano Bianco advert - not good at all !
I've since ripped them off to enjoy the view Cool

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

What a great idea. So simple. My FFRR, like all NAS ones, has the factory tint. Otherwise I'd be getting these immediately.

Just a quick thought for you... The factory tint is quite dark but my aftermarket tints on my other FF are really really BLACK for security reasons Thumbs Up

I could leave anything on the rear seat and you cannot see it!

I have a reverse camera so rear visibility is simply no issue Thumbs Up

What i am trying to suggest is simple, if your having them tinted, why? If its for security (like me) & for the RSE then think seriously about going limo black as when it comes to holiday time... You simply cannot see whats being carried in the rear Thumbs Up and to be fair, weather you have medium or limo as soon as its dusk, you won't see out to reverse in either case Thumbs Up

Last but not least... If you do go medium, get the removable panels like above too... As when you either need extra security or to carry loads in the boot, they stop your tint from getting scratched Thumbs Up
