Obviously as our beloved rr's get a bit older and cheaper, more people are using them in earnest for off roading.

Looks like it's got a heavy duty rear / winch bumper fitted. I wonder what the front looks like. The FFRR bumpers may look nice and shapely, but they ain't no good for bolting extras on to, like bow shackles, winches, drop tow hitches and anything else you can think of! So if I've read this right, the black bumper is an ARB D3 thats been modded to fit the FFRR, cos it looks like a dam fine fit. And the sort of thing that I'm interested in. Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Hummm.... So it's back to DIY again, must say that they have done a first class job. So the only real question is, are there implications to changing the bumper? I know that there was a lot jumping and shouting about Bull Bars, and that they were going to be banned. Did this ever come to light or was it a storm in a teacup? I never payed much notice to all that, cos I had an old Rangie, and they would have had to back date the legislation to when Noah was a lad, to catch me! Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
