2017 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Indus Silver

Ahh yes, sorry was thinking of another car. forgot the range had studs, I have to confess I don't need anything as the 20" wheels are not _that_ heavy.

I won't edit the post as the replies would seem more incongruous then.. Looks like my embarrassment is there for all to see ad infinitum!

-I've done worse, sorry for the mistake.

The listing does say no shipping outside the US, but when you go thru the checkout, there is an option to request an "exception" and Eric ( the chap at Atlantic British) will send you an eBay invoice for the total including shipping which then allows you to pay via PayPal.

Mine should be here late next week.

They arrived!

The Wheel Fitment Alignment Tools arrived in the post (got stuffed for customs charges or £13 so £43 in all Big Cry )

Tried them
with the OEM 20", OEM 19" and the Overfinch 22" and they worked a treat. Much easier to hang the wheel on and slide it onto the hub centre (being able to hold the wheel from above than lifting IMHO).

130mm in length and 20mm Dia (exact- for you home engineers)

Well I've been a busy boy and I've come up with the MK1!

Wot do ya fink?

I am inclined to make the other 30 mm shorter so that you can pivot the wheel around the big pin to line it up with the second.

You may have also noticed that I have not included a screwdriver slot, at the moment, cos I'm under the impression that if it got stuck, it would be a pair of pliers that you'd go for first. And as I've included a grippy bit, (knurled for those in the know) you should be able to get a hold even with wet hands.

Why is it tapered I hear you ask...Did you watch the Youtube link, the chap didn't half struggle to get the wheel on the pins, I thought that it would be easier to fit a small pin a large hole, said the actress to the bishop! Wink

And that is not the final surface finish, it's naked Shocked , it will be blacked when tinkered.

Thoughts please chaps, and be gentle, I've already been bitten in the thumb by some swarf :blub:

You didn't say if you thought that a short one would be a good idea Evil or Very Mad

And do you think they need a screwdriver slot?

As far as stamping them with fullfatrr.com, or your name, I Love My FFRR, it's do-able, but they would act like a file on ya wheels. So if you want to go down the road in a FFRR that resembles Billy Smarts Clown Car, far be it from me to argue Rolling with laughter Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
