Just got the tyres fitted to the rims, been waiting all day for the nuts to arrive from Dan, turned up at 4.30pm so by the time I got them on the light was fading...

Gave it a wash and tried out the new tyres on the road today, there is a very small amount of tyre noise from them but you can only hear it with the windows open so very pleased about that. At an indicated 70mph the true speed is now 71mph so it's made the speedo just about right, there is a slight reduction in acceleration but not really noticeable... The ride is now very nice, you really can't feel any bumps in the road...

Awesome write up. I shudder to think how much cash you've invested. You obviously have a bottomless pit of it somewhere.

The buck was made from plastic, fiberglass and filler, until it was the correct shape, the wing has a compound curve at the front... Then a mould is taken from the buck in fiberglass, then the finished piece is made in fiberglass from the mould... Pete
