Take a nice backup battery with you or jump leads and another vehicle, i prefer diesels for this as they seem more stable.

Charging a flat battery is really hard on the alternator. It can cause them to fail. Above advice to leave a charge on it for as long as possible is very good. If you have a charger and can give it a few hours, even better. Rest of above advice excellent, especially a nice, long run at speed to make sure everything is topped up. |

What will be pulling the trailer as the ff is at least 2600kg + I'd say at least 800kg for a decent trailer?

my other FF TD6, will be doing the horse work on this occasion. once I get it back home it can go on the charger for a couple of days on trickle, that should bring it back OK if indeed it wont go.
