Immobilised after replacing relay - Help

Been trying to get my horn to work for ages, so pulled the glovebox out to change the relay.
Left the negative terminal off overnight while doing the work.
Put it back together thismorning and the barrel turns but no engine cranking. Also the AC doesnt work.
The key doesn't make the little click (unlock) noise when you put it in either.

Everything else works fine (radio, Sat Nav, lights etc).

Gap IID doesn't report any obvious faults other than "Power On reset".
Tried clearing everything a\with no luck.

Any ideas please?
Can the GAP IID re-tune my keyFob to the car?

Thanks for taking the time to help.
After spending another 6 hours, taking the globe box back out to put the original relay back in, I found a small connection near the relay which was not seated properly.....

After pulling the battery out to get to the start motor relay.
After charging the battery all day out of the car.
After painstakingly checking each bloody fuse.

These beasts are a labour of love! L322 4.4 Vogue MY03 - Her name is Bulletproof .... you already know she's not Smile

Really pleased you managed to locate the fault. At least it did not cost a fortune.

Whats not to like - 6 hours spent with the love of your life.

And look at how much more you now know about your car - bet you love it really.

And you have decent weather over there to find the fault in - raining and cold here now. Howard
