Homelink - Powerfold Mirrors

Hi guys,

I have just purchased my first Range Rover Vogue 3.6 TDV8 and have learnt a lot about the RR on this forum, but have a couple of questions that I haven't seen before - I apologise if the questions have already been asked and I have missed the response.

Homelink - Has anyone tried to replace their rear view mirror with the Homelink review mirror and if so did the Homelink function work or was it then necessary to perform other changes? I have an auto dimming rear view mirror.

Powerfold Mirrors - is it possible to make the powerfold mirrors close when you switch off the engine and then open again when you start it up again ? What is involved in making this happen?

Thanks Craig

Power fold on locking isn't on the CCF in your model but some one was selling a little module on ebay that would do it , not heard about it for a while .
How old is you garage door closer ? Home link has not been compatible with anything built after about 2006 when the gen 2 rolling codes came out , I know as I have tried every thing including a signal converter kit from the US running though a bloody expensive transformer Twisted Evil 2008 MY Supercharged

Thanks Axle,

I will search a bit harder for the powerfold mirrors.

The garage door has only recently been installed, so from what you are saying, the Homelink isn't going to work anyway. That's saved me £250 !!!

Thanks

Disagree on Homelink. I got mine synched up ok with gate opener that I installed last year. Its rolling code, no problem synching if you follow procedure (for me anyway). 2007 TDV8 Vogue SE Java Black
