Such a shame you couldn't make her come. As standard, I mean... Whistle Wink Laughing

Rather gorgeous lady aside, you have a rather gorgeous L405. Great colour. Thumbs Up Si. <This is my name.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

It is unquestionably lighter but not as much as they are claiming.

A lot of the differences are down to under what conditions they're weighed - e.g. Autocar weigh test cars with driver and passenger and half a tank of fuel, which the factory figures certainly don't include. Lamborghini, for example, still quote dry figures from the factory.

I could save that by amputating one leg, fat B*stard that I am Laughing Laughing

Wish I could afford a L405 S/C in red though. Very nice motor and I much prefer the L405 over the Snort, it's still the 'Proper' Range Rover as far as I'm concerned. The Snort looks like someone let off a hand grenade in an Evoque . Thumbs Up

Which is the best way. Having half a tank of fuel just penalises having a bigger tank. Adding passengers is not weighing the car.

At lest 2l/100km less than my L322 with the same engine. Probably due to a combination of less weight and the 8 speed gearbox. I manage about 13.5l/100 km serene driving style and 15 pushing a bit harder. Very reasonable for the engine size.

I'm having the car detailed, if anyone is interested you can see it step by step while it is being done on my detailer's Facebook page:

Fantastic detailer who's done the 3 LaFerrari's (the new hybrid supercar) from the Monaco Ferrari dealer.

It's not a new car and the dealer prepped it before delivery.
Seats looked like new till he done half to show me they were dirty but you couldn't tell they were before he had done it.
He has done the same on a nearly new Ferrari F12. Light coloured seats and jeans don't go together well.

Picked my car up from the detailer yesterday, he worked 3 full days on the car.
Dealer prepped it before delivery but you know what that means!
Here a few pictures, it now looks perfect (to my eyes at least).
