Bluetooth ULF has a mind of its own

Just got into the car and heard a bleep. For the journey to work, all I've heard is "cancel". The screen shows voice recognition then input cancelled over and over.

Any way of diagnosing this?

Sounds like the button on the steering wheel is stuck down or the slip ring thing is iffy on the wheel.

Could be a bad connection or similar somewhere, as you have to press and hold the button to start voice commands and press it again to cancel. Must be getting these signals by itself.

Haven't checked anything yet. The button on the wheel feels ok though
