Spoke to the chap who did the railings for us and he doesn't do the coating himself, says he sends it allout to Langley coatings in Kirk Langley, so I gave them a call. V nice and helpful and cheap..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Will ask if they do a satin, only mentioned a gloss and a Matt, though judging by the railings satin is possible...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

It may be worth asking if they'll grit blast the tubes first to ensure good adhesion of the coating.

The tubes get a fair amount of abuse from debris flying up and powder coating onto stainless isn't particularly "permanent". Ideally get them to grit blast them just before they coat them to keep the metal as virgin as possible.

Turned out to be a bit of a bargain.

Both tubes blasted and powder coated in black satin, all in £30! They also did a really crusty old gate for my mate. Probably over 50 years old looked knackered, now looks brand new!!!!!!!!

Going to have a go at fitting them this weekend. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
