The Ivory Oxford perforated seats on my MY12 car are cracking - probably as a result of over use of the seat heaters as the weather cools. Any recommendations on what is the best treatments to use to stop the leather drying out?

Be carefull since you are diving into an area where there are a few quite polarized opinions on what to do and what not.

My preferred leather treatment is Gliptone cleaner and conditioner. It also gives you a nice but discrete smell of leather for a few days after the treatment. I used it on the tired seats of the 2006 and it really gave them a new lease on life. I had my driver do the treatment about once every two months after I did the first myself. Kept the seats and other leather parts in great condition.

Gary Elliot (Site Sponsor) has a guy that does the leather on his for sale cars (who also did my 5.0 before delivery), maybe you should get his details .

Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Used the Gliptone Twins on mine when I bought it and they made a good difference IMO as they were scuffed,dried up and shiny, I will now just use the conditioner every now and again to keep them supple, used this on my M3 leathers and kept them good for the time I had it .....and as said it leaves the car smelling like new leather

Just an idea.... Can you get LR to replace them under warranty, or has it expired? It may be worth an ask. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

On my old series3 jags, disco 3's and now the l322 I've always used glycerine saddle soap followed by Connolly's hide conditioner. The saddle soap cleans and protects like nothing else I've ever tried and the Connolly's makes the leather supple. No strong smell from either of these products.
