United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

That's gorgeous! Bow down

I lived in Australia for a while and became pretty much obsessed with Allan Moffat and the GTHO Phase III.

The running gear of the Mach 1 with the manual Toploader gearbox is an near-as-dammit identical to what went into the Falcon in Australia. It's one of the many reasons I want this particular car.

Eric Bana would love yours. The XB is one of the nicest shapes Ford (or anyone) ever produced, in my opinion. Thumbs Up Si. <This is my name.

New Zealand 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

Ah, the XYGT HO was indeed pretty awesome!
I'll be shipping mine back to NZ early next year. I'm tossing up between an FG GT or one of the last FG-X XR8s. The XR8 essentially has running gear from the GT, but that GT badge is very tempting..

Hope thats all clear to you Stan!

PMSL@Stan. Bow down

Aah, the XR8. I hired an XR6 in Perth one weekend and absolutely loved it! I couldn't believe how good that was.

A friend had the turbo XR6 and took me out in that. It was quick, but I've always loved big-cube engines and it just didn't match up to the 351 (I think) that the XR8 had back then.

One of my biggest regrets ever was a friend in Perth who owns two concourse GTHO Phase III models. He was ready to take me out for a spin in one. I got my wires crossed and missed the opportunity. I'm kicking myself for that even now. He drove Allan Moffat in one of them. F***!!!!!!

If I was to go back to Oz today, I'd go, like you, and buy a FG GT. Stunning machines. They would eclipse anything sold by GM. Si. <This is my name.
