Afternoon all right I have grinding brakes but only on hard braking from speed there is no pull,vibration or shudder through the steering column just a bloody awful noise now my thinking is new discs and pads needed as this might be caused by a slight lip on the disc and the pads mayor may not be brembo or am I missing something that could be causing this din - on slow braking i.e. in traffic all is relatively quiet and smooth but when nor braking a squeal - pads and discs me thinks

I have EXACTLY the same symptoms you had 2 years ago.
Did you ever get to the bottom of it?

Yes resolved this with new discs and pads put genuine on and never had a problem since the ones that were on were aftermarket put on by previous owner

It depends which brakes you have mine are Brembo got everything from Dan at Duckworths give him a ring he will give you a price or PM him on here he gets back really quick

I'm thinking they probably are Brembos, I'm sure they went back to them on this model year. I didn't notice any logo on the calipers but to be honest I was concentrating on the discs and pads. I will have a closer look later.
