Can anyone recommend a GOOD company ,London or the home counties that is renowned for there quality of workmanship with regard to window tinting.? :

Yes i was pleased with the work done. Dropped car
off about 9 am and picked it up at about 3 pm.
Bus stop a couple of mins away so got the bus
into Staines and had a wander around. Couple of
nice pubs by the river for lunch. Think it was about £300.00.

I had mine done from Pentagon, who were all "the ones" back when all this tinting business started (late 80's??)..... they used to be the best quality and the most expensive too

Nowadays they're not expensive. I had 2 Full Fats done for £150 each a year ago from the Hainault branch. They also do all the aftermarket tinting for Stratstone in Hainault and Mayfair amongst other dealerships.

So Yes - I'd recommend them

Interesting as mine has a small tear in the film on the rear windscreen so need to get it redone

Just DONT get the front A to B pillar done, even if a clear film as the glass is very close to illegal so any film on them will tip the percentage over, mine had a very very light tint on them and was pulled over by the boys in blue on way to work, he put the meter on them, once with the film and asked to check without the film once I pulled the film off. their was not much in it either! If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Mine has a smash resistant film tint - think it is supaglass by name. Means it resists a smash and grab attempt if someone sees something nice in your car and want it!

I thought all models had laminated side windows anyway? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Only laminated side glass on the later ones.... From 2005/6ish I think... Pete
