I believe you have to do a firmware upgrade. I had the same symptoms and did a firmware upgrade using my iiD tool. Phone now is recognised and phonebook available on screen.

isnt this an issue where there are already to many paired devices on the FF..delete the devices and it should be ok..[might be wrong though |

Mine pairs automatically but can take a few mins to do so after starting. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
