The problem we have here isn't one of bendy phones, but merely the everlasting trend of dissing (hateful Americanism but couldn't think of anything more appropriate) new Apple products when they're launched.

BBC News did a most unscientific test by placing said iPhone 6+ in the reporters front and rear jeans pockets and then repeatedly sitting on both hard and soft chairs. Surprise, surprise, no bendy phone. I suspect he wasn't the first user to experience this either.

And why would one place a phone in their pocket and sit on it for hours at a time? I can't think of one reason why. I HATE having items in my pockets that interfere with my comfort (insert suitable guffaw and snigger here).

Clearly, there's folk who relish a good ball-rupture from their car keys, or a good stiff implant in their buttocks from their wallet. I just don't get that.

So I view these reports as propoganda and my intent to buy a 6 later this year remains undiminished. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

Totally agree Bellini Very Happy Got my 4.7" I-Phone6 last Saturday and I am really pleased with it. For old gits like me with ageing eyesight the bigger screen is spot on. Agree with earlier comments, the 6 plus is just too big for a phone, better to get an I-Pad. SDV8 AB MY 2019

Have splashed out and for the first time ever I will have the very latest phone, ordered a 128GB iPhone 6 (not the plus as it won't fit in the hole where the ashtray sits, this is where I put the phone in the RR when on charge.)

Anyone seen any other cases for the phone other than the Apple website ones?

All this talk of bendyness - if they put a case on it will add to the rigidity anyway and is good practice. First thing I do with my iPhones is put a protective film on and a case, then when I sell them on, they are in mint condition. Discovery 4 HSE

I've got a cheap screen protector and rubber case until the lifeproof comes out and my queued order is fulfilled as they are the only long term cases I use Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Have a conflict in terms of cases, I use a mophie case with the built in battery booster on my 5 but it still looks like it's been through a cement mixer! The Matt black case wasn't a good idea on the 5! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
