I haven't got side steps on my new car but it does already have mudflaps fitted. I simply can't afford to get the deployable side steps (Craig good enough to provide quote) just yet although that is my end game.

Mine require the mudflaps removed and after a while they are not as easy to get the bolts off as they once were it appears to be the most annoying part of fitting the new towbar.

Get her a plastic Ikea step, paint it in her favourite colour with the label of her favourite designer on top and tell her it is one of a kind, unique and stylish.
