Talking to a gentleman in a filling station the other day with a 2003 TD6 from new who had 252000miles on it.
Apart from a gearbox rebuild and torque convertor change he'd not had any significant problems.
Hope for us all. Thumbs Up

Wow. Hope indeed.

I'm almost 130k. But on current annual mileage it would take me a further 25 years to get to 252k......

must of been a Tuesday built RR!

To get that mileage on mine will take 28 years Shocked ....by then fuel be £10 a litre an FF be a rust bucket Laughing

I knew someone on the Toyota LC forum who had 400k on a 80 series 4.2 diesel and that was miles! If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Mine will have done it in 10 years at the current rate. Can't believe I have averaged 13400miles per year in the 4 years I've had it. I have another car and motorcycles.

Guess it's those trips to the UK and some commuting in winter.

Mrs WD's mileage is currently about 14000+ miles a year just commuting, never mind the trips the kids want taking about.....and that's in a euro box ( focus), using the 110 V8 every day was hurting the pocket, she likes the mpg of the car....hates the car preferring the, drafty, noisy, slow 110 Shocked If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

My first RR ( a 1972) went round the clock 4 times and was approaching the 5th when I retired it, it had two engine overhauls in that time

Yesterday morning, on my way in to work, the FF's mileometer rolled over to 200,000 miles!
She's not quite 10 years old yet, birthday in November, so she's averaged 20,000 miles per year.

Not bad at all for a Range Rover! Thumbs Up
