You would be surprised how many (but not all!) car dealerships have staff that know naff all about the product.

It's not even limited to cars, Fox! Most salespeople are not worth @$%$". The exceptions are few and far between. And the internet has just made that situation worse - the consumer is generally better informed (because it's easy) and the salespeople are getting worse and worse because the informed consumer purchases online and retailers have no more money for the sales staff.

No !! My 07MY TDV8 HSE was listed as a 06/56 TDV6 RR Sport HSE. Not much difference there then, except of course, the price. Once they realised their mistake it was a bit late. Deposit paid and I got her for about 3k less than book. Some days are good days and that was one of them |
