Programming the remote for FBH

Well..I've finally recieved my remote today .

The instruction for programming the remote is as follow:

Disconnect the battery or fuse59 for at least 5secs then reconnect and within 5secs press the unlock button for 1-5 secs.

The remonte for FBH has 2 buttons: ON & OFF (not lock/unlock)

Mine is definitely a FBH remote, but the instruction says press un-lock, so I pressed the unlock on ignition key Shocked Unless it meant "off" on the FBH remote Confused

Try this: remove fuse and wait 15-20 seconds, reconnect the fuse and within 5sec press OFF button from FBH remote. If this procedure its not work, try to repeat procedure with ON button. The red/green led from remote must lighting aprox. 2 seconds if all OK.

Thanks, just asked the dealer, remove fuse, I should press the "ON" button from FBH remote within 5 secs, NOT the unlock button from the ignition key....

Ok then...I've just tried again by pulling the fuse out, and pressed ON, tried again, then pressed OFF, not working Rolling Eyes

Tried disconnect earth on battery and press OFF, it worked straight away Thumbs Up

So I think the proper way to programme the FBH remote is as follow...

Disconnect the earth from battery for at least 15secs, then re-connect and within 5 secs, press the "OFF" button on the FBH remote for 1-5secs.

Its a 5minutes job Thumbs Up

Mine is MY 06,and your advice was right Thumbs Up

Mick..it's a 5min job, first you have to find a 10mm spanner to un-do the nut on the battery, and then re-connect and tighten the nut again Mr. Green

RRUK, no need to thank me, its all part of the service Mr. Green
