2011 Range Rover - No gearstick

So I was looking at the MY2011 on the Landie website and I noticed this picture:

Clearly this very similar is the system on the Jaguar XF.

However, does this now mean that there are steering wheel mounted paddles? Otherwise, how does one select gears in the semi manual mode?

You use the optional nuro-interface , this isn't available in the States because they couldn't find any brain activity to trigger the system . Rolling with laughter 2008 MY Supercharged

In 2006/7 when I was looking for the bigger car I checked out a Mondeo estate spurred on by the new model.

It had the exact same sliding tray in the centre console.
