I have them on mine and can't remember what they are called. I think they are more for asethetics rather than function. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Soz - not sure what they're called but I believe they are there to reduce the amount of over bonnet spray you get when driving through decent sized puddles.

I remember Quentin Wilson (I think) while testing the P38 Range Rover making a comment about the 'Motorway Ride Height', he said something like 'I don't see a one inch drop making much of a difference to a car with the aerodynamics of a slightly rounded brick' |

on our 2010 fl2 they were to reduce windscreen being obliterated by water if going through a bif puddle |
