That defender looks nice, old fashioned and exactly what you want for a workhorse!

Apologies if I'm mistaken, but read the article again and LR seems to be saying it won't go with the DC100 look but going for something more alike to the current looks... Has anyone seen pics of this? MY11 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - "African Queen"

That DC100 concept looks horrible I hope they come up with something that captures the looks of the Defender better then through 405 captures the Classic looks. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Apparently they've ditched the DC100 concept.

There are many things needing a good update on the Defender, but the look isn't one of them. They look great. Mind you, they looked great when they were the IIIs, the IIAs, and the IIs as they all look the same.

The Series spit windscreen is neat, but I doubt we'll see that again. Given how easy it is the chip a windscreen on a nasty gravel road, smaller, more easy to replace 2 piece ones are probably better..
