Alarm

The alarm went off this weekend. no lights just an intermittent horn. It would go on for about 30 seconds then off for about 10 seconds.

Tried opening shutting everything and locking and unlocking everything. Pulled out Fuse 43 which just made it a bit quieter, but made no real difference.

After about half an hour it stopped.

No clues in the manual and have searched threads here but may have missed something to explain.

Any thoughts would be welcome. 2014 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography & 2015 3.0SDV6 HSE Lux Discovery 4

Hi RRBlue,

My thoughts are that it's an FFRR and as such was feeling lonely or unloved Big Cry
All it needed was some attention to make it quiet - just like any baby Laughing

Sorry to be flippant!! Someone clever will be along soon!!

I had this. Changed the bonnet sensor, seemed OK for a week or so then went off again.

Turned out to be the tilt sensor. Cost £146 fitted at LR Lookers Bishops Stortford. Graham
