Hi

My car developed a fault with the driver's door. None of the electrics, except the suspension lowering one work. Can't open the windows from it, and the central locking doesn't work.

I took out and checked every fuse in both boxes (except the airbags one) and they're all OK.

Now I have air suspension failure!

If it sticks, force it. If it breaks, it needs replacing anyway.

To clear the suspension fault try starting the engine and then turning the steering wheel to full lock both ways.

Pulling the fuse for the air suspension is the same as disconnecting the battery. Steering lock to lock is the standard solution for resetting the steering sensor after a battery disconnection. An out of position steering sensor inhibits the air suspension.
I think you will remember that.

Others have also reported problems with the wiring running to the door becoming corroded (mainly left hand side though). Worth checking the wires back in the A post area. .

Just a thought, does the central locking work using the key in the drivers door?

No. It just locks the driver's door. The central locking locks all the other doors... Tym

SOLVED IT!!!

Goodness knows how this happened but... whilst I was checking all the fuses, it would appear that fuse 11 was never put back!!! ::ahem:: put a new fuse in and it's all working again.  Tym
