United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black
Poor throttle pick-up

I have an occasional problem with my FF 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography 2012, 21000 miles. Sometimes when trying to edge forward or backward delicately, for instance going into my garage, the engine revs do not increase as I depress the accelerator pedal, until it is virtually flat against the carpet when the car suddenly surges forward. It never happens when it is at the dealership, so they have not experienced the problem and seem unable to help. It also seems to happen more when the engine is cold.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, John

Thanks, Stan. Fingers crossed that the FF fraternity will have some suggestions.

Cheers, John
