I like name number plates, they make sense. I do laugh at the DMW type plates on BMW's. They are a bit sad. Previously..

Unfortunately Range Rovers in general seem to be the worst vehicles for chav plates. How many tarted-up Sports don't have their plates butchered into something unintelligible?
Personal taste etc., but it makes it illegal if you've spaced it like that. |

I usually point out to those with Personalised plates that "My number plate is totally unique"

Gents have you missed the point of this post? Personalised plates were not what made me think the RRS owner was insecure. I have a subtle personal plate myself.

We have plates as Riccarton said to make us happy, the revenue from plates is a good thing IMHO, if some chooses to change the look then they are in breach of a number of laws, them !! |

A number of people where we are buy a brand new car, leave the new plate on for the first 12 months, then put their private plate on. Is that vain? |
