Hopefully I'm not showing you stuff you already know but I bought a couple of these to slot into the cigarette lighter sockets in my car and thought they looked pretty neat. See attached picture.

That's one problem I don't have right now LOL.

@ironhorse - shouldn't flatten the battery if only in the front and centre sockets, as these are 'off' when the ignition is off

I have one in my cubby box socket, and it has caused me no issues. (rear load space socket is live all the time, so this would cause an issue, but why would you want one in the load space anyway?  2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)

just a little thing to think about as these cars eat battery's without any help

all the aux sockets are live in mine at all times

can only assume the early ones are set up differently and stay live, all looks standard to me

For me.....

03MY TD6 (BMW) = old sockets live all the time
06MY SC (Ford) = socket in the boot is live, the passenger ones are ignition only 2006 4.2 SC

mine are like steves ^ but thinking about it i seem to recall my 2005 td6 having all live , maybe LR changed it on the face lift. ... - .- -.

No problems with flat battery! Useful little things. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Like Mr Jones, I also have a Belkin high power twin USB socket in my cubby for charging my phone and for my iPod, which permanently lives in there (I added a AUX in socket in the cubby box itself, iPod is attached by one of those integrated charger/audio out leads)

Cubby box is a switched live so I also have no battery issues  2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!
