Im planning to do this too. I understand there is an inspection hole. This is to wind back epb mechanism so you can remove disc. Im not sure exact process here but be careful to wind correct way. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Sorted, put the wee hole ot 6 o'clock and adjust the shoes "in"

I'm planning to do rears discs soon. Just not clear on inspection hole bit / EPB . What do I need to do exactly ? Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Once you have the wheel, caliper and caliper carrier off, remove the small black plug from the rear disc between two wheel studs.

When you have fitted new discs run the pad bedding in cycle, instruction on rave, an handbrake will work much much better. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
