Hi all,
Just back from service on our 08MY TDV8 VSE. Straight oil service, brake fluid and transfer case oil change. Additionally asked for a look at the cost of replacing the fuel filler cap strap...slightly lost in translation as they fitted a whole new cap at £ 30. Total cost £489.
Anyhow, tyres getting low and planning to venture down the Nexen route shortly.
Both front and rear pads are touching the sensor. Planning DIY so question is where is the cheapest place to source genuine pads...Duckworth?
Despite assurances that a wiring issue would be the culprit for the vehicle slow to lift message, a new compressor has been ordered as it's showing a common fault code....happy days.
The other observation was that the inter cooler pipes are very hard and prone to failure. As they have not failed the warranty will not cover them. How can I, ahem, encourage them to fail? A good squeeze?
All advice welcome.
Kind regards,
