Hi,

Can anyone tell me if I can take off my towbar armature (westfalia) from my '02 FF and fit it to a 11MY FF ? I tried searching and discovered it fits 06-10 MY but nae sure if there was any change in 11/12MY

I'm pretty sure that the armature will be a straight swap.

You will need new towing electrics though.

Later type has different exhaust hangers if I am not mistaken, not insurmountable from what I have read. 2016 (L405) Autobiography in Black with Ivory - for ULEZ

You will need to cut the right angle brackets which hold the exhaust mountings off the 'crash bars' on the new car when you remove them, then all will be fine (will make sense once you look at how the exhaust is mounted on the later car - a little different to the early car - the exhaust mountings on the early armature are not used).

Pics below are from mine - 56 Reg using earlier armature, fitted a couple of months ago, also, as said in previous posts, the electrics are different on your new car and will need to be enabled by a dealer or using an IID tool or suchlike.
