Is this a no no...

To replace the front bumper and grill of a 2007/2008 to a 2010.

I don’t want to pass the car of as a 2010, I just prefer the look of the bumper and grill and where the spot lights are...

I know the main lights are different etc, not bothered about them.

Or.... Should I not be a stupid arse and leave well alone? Embarassed

For the Cost i would say leave alone and could understand it more if it was a Pre 2005 facelift but if you are keeping the car for a while and it makes you happier then what the hell!

Not in my opinion iT LAD - if I had spare £2500 - £3000 laying around I would probably update mine also.

The more I see the new 2010MY driving around - the more I like the styling changes.

I doubt I will be thinking the same after seeing the 2011MY front end Neutral

I would however only get the whole package including rear lights, side grilles and wheels to complete the look...

... and would have to have it done professionally - it would not be something I would consider doing myself.

Are you any closer to getting a RR or are you still waiting for prices to drop when the new TDV8 launches?

Thumbs Up

Thanks guys,

I just had a look on prices and for the new bumper, grill, side vents and front and back lights... £3,500.00 fitted.

I may just do it as I will be keeping the car for 3 years.

I'm a bit fed up waiting for the prices to come down on 2007/2008 models, so after this weekend I'm going to look at a few. There seems to be allot about now in the colour I want...

cheers

Idea

Im fairly sure that forum sponsers DCC 4x4 offer the full conversion BUT allow you to keep the old fittings that you should be able to sell on eBay, and which could save you a few £££'s

Question
