You can buy a 1 day or weekend camping option & they also have a decent off road course not too far away - not sure I'd take my FFRR through it, but some do as there is a 'non-damaging' option - I used to take a heavily modified Jeep & go on the black run

Not been to this show before. After the disappointment of Billing last week, is this one any better ?

The Peterborough show has been pretty variable over they years, but it is very much geared at the Landrover enthusiast - there's not much RR stuff there, but there is some.

Some years it has felt like you spend £12 or so for entry into a glorified car boot sale - other years there is more going on in the arena etc and some decent static stands to wander around.

The food stands are outrageously expensive

I can usually kill half a day there and usually end up buying something.

The off road course is usually good - if that's your thing - and is about 15 mins away from the main site

There's quite a lot of people camp - and there's a big bar disco type thing at night until around midnight - or at least that's when the music goes off - I'm close enough to hear

As you'd expect, it's pretty weather dependent - on a nice day it's much more pleasurable than the rain - No doubt even more so if you're camping

Can be a vivacious cycle - bad weather = low turnout - means some exhibitors don't come back next year - a couple of back to back wet years then takes a while to recover from - but the last few seem to have been improvements on the year before.

Its an easy one for me, but doubt I'd travel far - but then again, Landrovers aren't really my thing.....
